Mobile documentary filmmaking workshop
A breeding ground for audiovisual and photographic talent in Mexico
We encourage all our students to continue learning built on ethics and reflection.
The workshop program is a generator of artistic learning and content creation.
We are building ongoing relationships with cultural agents in the communities where we operate, to promote the work of our students.
About the Workshop
At Grupo México, we promote human development in our neighbor communities through artistic activities and from this, the Mobile Workshops program arose.
The Mobile Workshop brings the artistic language of filmmaking and photography, and also learning how to use audiovisual technologies, to the youth in mining communities. This program fosters recording and representing significant social, historical and cultural expressions from their place of origin. The invitation to participate in our Mobile Workshops is open to the public, free of charge, with offering like Documentary Filmmaking, Filmmaking for Children, and Photography.
What the students say
“I went to the workshop because I was interested in showing and expressing my sensitivity through a different artform … in short, the experience has brought me back to life, a second chance to be and to grow with art”
Aydee Bailón
Documentary Film student, Nacozari, Sonora

I went to the workshop by chance as I have always been interested in photography and film. I never thought I would meet such wonderful people as our workshop facilitators. I enjoyed what I learned in the workshop”
Víctor Manuel Soto
Documentary Film student, Charcas, San Luis Potosi

I learned that to take a good photograph, you need to align your mind, heart and spirit”
Delia
Photography student, Hermosillo, Sonora
