Ferromex expresses its deepest condolences and unwavering solidarity with the families of those who lost their lives in today’s tragic incident, as well as with the individuals affected and the community of Irapuato.

Specialized personnel have been deployed to the site to provide immediate assistance to those involved, and to conduct a thorough review of the locomotive’s black box to determine the circumstances that may have led to the detachment of the locomotive from the convoy.

Ferromex is maintaining close cooperation with the Railway Transport Regulatory Agency, as well as with state and local authorities, to carry out a comprehensive investigation into the incident and to ensure all necessary support is provided to those affected.
