GMXT receives the Supplier of the Year award from Nissan North America<\/h2>\n

Mexico City, September 9th 2021 | Announcement 005\/21<\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=””]Grupo M\u00e9xico Transportes\u2019 operational and service excellence was recognized by Nissan North America through the presentation of the Annual Supplier of the Year Award, \u2018Partner of the Year,\u2019 for the year 2020.<\/p>\n

Nissan North America grants this award to logistics suppliers from Mexico, the United States, and Canada that play a prominent role in the operation of their logistics network for the transportation of finished vehicles. This year, Ferromex outperformed its railway and automotive transportation competitors in all three countries, earning us this distinction.<\/p>\n

This recognition, one of the most significant in the automotive industry, is the result of implementing actions to enhance freight rail transport services for this industrial sector, including improvements in service, reliability, compliance, safety, adaptability, and, notably, a successful operational strategy at the Port of Altamira.<\/p>\n

After nearly two decades of providing cargo transport services to Nissan North America, in 2020, even amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Ferromex moved more than 19,000 automotive multi-levels and over 250,000 vehicles.<\/p>\n

GMXT proudly accepts this distinction from Nissan North America and reaffirms its commitment to quality for all users of its services.<\/p>\n
